Exhibition Games
With no league games scheduled for this week, the hard working Mooretown Storm went looking for a strong challenge. The Storm visited Petrolia on Friday night and hosted the Lasalle Sabres AE squad Saturday morning for some exhibition action. Petrolia was ready for our boys and put up a fight. Petrolia started the scoring but Mooretown quickly made it 4-1 after two periods. A late push from Petrolia made it close but team defence and Jackson in net held on for the victory. On Saturday morning, Mooretown welcomed the Lasalle Sabres to the Moore Sports Complex. The boys knew that it was going to be a strong test but they showed what the Storm can do when they work hard and play as a team. Final score 5-1 Mooretown. Go Storm!!
