Mooretown would play a couple of friendly exhibition tilts against their eastern rival Petrolia.
The boys would play in Petrolia on Friday night and take the game 2-1. Petrolia was looking for bragging rights to be the first league team to beat Mooretown and although they would come close, the Storm's power would keep the Oilers from doing so.
A rematch the next morning would be a similar affair. The game would be tight with lots of scoring chances but both teams were quite evenly matched and the end result would be a 1-1 tie.
The Storm plays its last regular season game home against Wallaceburg on Thursday night.
