Storm Atom Girls Earn 2 Hard Fought Ties from East Lambton Eagles
After earning a hard fought and stingy 0-0 tie at home last week against the East Lambton Eagles on the shoulders of Kylie Shaw and her 2nd shutout, the Storm travelled to Watford today to face the Eagles once again. It was another hard fought, physical battle, but the Storm would not be intimidated or back down. The Storm managed to create some scoring opportunities and shots on net in this game. While a victory was close, in the end a 2-2 tie was the result.
Cadence Harrison notched 2 goals for the Storm playing on a line with Taylor Maclean and Teyguin Quinn. Improvements were noticable on faceoffs with some key defensive zone faceoff wins. A particular mention goes to the defense corps who did a great job clearing away loose pucks and rebounds in front of the net to keep the Eagles at bay in the defensive zone.
