The team coming off their exciting participation in the Corunna Christmas Parade, courtesy of ANJ Industrial, would play host to the Petrolia Oilers.
The team would play strong and smart throughout the game getting many chances on the Petrolia goalie and former Mooretown products, the Lypko twins. They proved from the beginning that they would be hard to beat batting away an onlslaught of chances by the Mooretown players. Braiden Shaw would also show that he was a force to be reckoned with only letting in one playing a solid game between the pipes to backstop his team. Chris Dunn, however, demonstrated that every netminder is beatable and would be the star of the game with two goals and enough to bring home the win for the Storm.
