The Storm would face the Southwest Bullets who were going into this game with a respectable 11-1 record.

Mooretown would be in tough against this strong Glencoe team as they were visiting with a roster slimmed by two since the St Clair Twp stomach bug had hit the team. However, the boys knew that with some determination they could put another mark in the L column for the Bullets.

Shaw would shine in the first period battting away puck after puck shot out of the Bullet's gun. #1 was on his game and the Mooretown boys in front of him they from the get-go they would have a chance. The Storm would counter back with some their own pressure but couldn't bang one home even with a man advantage near the period's end.

The Bullets would hit the target first with a shelf-shot that Shaw wouldn't be able to thwart. Mooretown would hit back with some physical play as the fans would watch Shaw put on a goalie clinic stopping a one-timer then reaching back snagging a puck that was destined for the twine. Frayne would go down hard mid-frame and would skate off with a limp while later on Dumoulin and a Bullet would meet shoulder to shoulder that would do some damage to both players.

The first portion of the third would see the game played 4 on 4 due to some feisty play. Neither team would take advantage of the more open ice. Both teams would continue to get their own array of chances while Shaw kept Mooretown in the hunt. With 1:23 left to play, Dumoulin would skate off the bench and jump in to grab a puck from Frayne that eventually saw to make the stick of Kilbreath who desposited it into the back of the net to the delight of the now screaming visiting fans. The game was tied at 1 with the chant of "Let's Go Mooretown" filling the arena. The Storm would continue to fight for the go ahead marker but the buzzer would sound with the Storm taking a hard-earned tie. Given the health status of the team, the T seemed just as good as a W.
