The boys would face off against the Wallaceburg Lakers in a rematch from the Strathroy Tournament.
Mooretown knew that the Lakers would be out to reclaim bragging rights after being knocked off by the Storm in OT last Sunday.
The game would play out as expected....gritty and hard-hitting. Both penalty boxes would have a seat warmer for most of the match as the refs whistle would certainly get a work-out. Wallaceburg would strike in the second period to take the lead but Mooretown would challenge back in the third courtesy of Dunn with Molson getting the assist. Once the dust settled, the teams would skate to a 1-1 tie.
