Final Away Game
The team would battle league-leading West Lorne on Friday night.
The boys would play out the first period in true Storm fashion putting pressure on the opponent and getting some good scoring chances. The visiting fans had hopes that the tilt would be a close affair. Those hopes were dashed in the second when the Comets pounded the Storm with shots in combination with the renowned zebra that ruled the barn. West Lorne would end up taking control of the game and Mooretown would not be able to respond using only the one marker scored by Oliveira. Many minutes were spent in the penalty box and the fans were not pleased with the calls favouring West Lorne and giving the home team the advantage in the final two periods.
The boys need to push the reset button as they face Wallaceburg 12 hours later to close out the regular season.
